Joe “Cowboy” Wallace

Earning his call sign of “Cowboy” while serving as a Force Reconnaissance Marine in Mexico and South America, Joe Wallace has spent his life striving for excellence in the face of adversity. He served in the United States Marine Corps for nearly a decade, deploying to Afghanistan, Mexico, Colombia, and Southeast Asia. After completing his decorated military service, Cowboy took his first dive into the world of business founding a massively successful tourism industry cooperative in Southern California. Hungry for a new challenge, he worked his way into public service once again. He served on a regional SWAT team as a team leader, a sniper, and the team training coordinator. Half way through this career Cowboy landed on a multi-jurisdictional task force that combats drug trafficking organizations, and human trafficking. Serving as an undercover asset, Cowboy aided in the rescue of countless victims and the dismantling of numerous criminal organizations.

Tragically, Cowboy’s career was brought to an abrupt end when he was diagnosed with a clinical disorder related to traumatic brain injuries he suffered in the military. But that didn’t stop him. While searching for a new purpose in his life, he conducted charitable missions to Central America, created and directed his own travel documentary, and briefly provided military consulting overseas.

After selling the rights to his documentary, Cowboy began working with a major international business consulting company. He has worked with C-suite executives from fortune 500 companies, and the largest corporations from around the world. Little did he know this drastic shift in careers would be the beginning of an idea that would revolutionize the business world…

Enter: Strategic Flow

As Cowboy entered the world of corporate consulting, he had a realization. The skills, tactics, and techniques he developed on elite military units, and world renowned first responder teams could be applied to business. In fact, many of the most successful corporate executives were already applying those concepts, even if they didn’t realize it.

Cowboy saw that the business consulting space was saturated with meaningless slogans, corporate jargon, and false bravado. If he was going to effectively bring operational excellence to businesses, he had to go deeper.

After years of study, hours of interviews, and days reflecting on his past experiences, Cowboy created the concept of STRATEGIC FLOW. It’s a method of leadership and operational excellence founded not only on the proven tactics used by elite units, but also a deep understanding of human psychology. With Strategic Flow business leaders are able to empower their teams to operate not only with excellence, but also with minimal management.

Cowboy’s belief in the importance of small business led him to found Strategic Flow Consulting LLC with the goal of bringing consulting services usually reserved for large corporations to small and medium businesses.
